30th November 2016

Dear Friends,

Tech Mahindra Foundation organised a volunteering event by the name ‘Vizag Coastal Clean’ in which apart from Tech Mahindra Associates, SMART Students from our SMART Centres, and NCC Students from Gayatri Vidya Parishad also participated.

Mr. Nallanayya – The Commissioner, GVMC Zone 2 and other GVMC Authorities also joined the event.  As a part of the event, around 170 bags of garbage were collected between Tenneti Park Point and Jalaripet Point and handed over to GVMC Authorities for further process.  Leaders from the local Tech Mahindra Location were present all through the event. The event created awareness among the participants on the need for protection of the environment especially from plastic waste.

Warm Regards,
Tech Mahindra Foundation
