Uninterrupted skilling at SMART Centres & Academies

15th July 2020

Dear Friends,

As you know that the educational institutions and vocational training have been affected by the nationwide lockdown. Our SMART Centres and Academies have adapted to online platforms like Google Meet, Whatsapp etc. to provide uninterrupted learning across our programs.

Today, on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, we would like to add a dose of positivity with the story of Shivam who completed his course remotely and also got a dignified living.

Shivam’s parents passed away a few years ago and he took the responsibility to raise his younger sister. He enrolled himself in the 6-month certification course at the Grey Sim Learning Foundation SMART-Technical Centre in Delhi. Now, his Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning & Washing Machine (RACW) Course has been completed and he has joined Powermat Electronic Daikin as a Technician earning a respectable salary. While expressing his gratitude, he said “I am thankful to Tech Mahindra Foundation for guiding me at a time that was most crucial for my career and helping me in making the right choice in terms of my skills and abilities.”

Here is a video to give you a glimpse of how online classes are being conducted for our SMART students across locations.

Warm regards,
Tech Mahindra Foundation
