Tech Mahindra Foundation is dedicated to advancing accessibility for Persons with Disabilities in the digital world. All site users’ user experiences are being continually enhanced while the pertinent accessibility guidelines are being followed. Irrespective of the assistive devices utilized to access this site, Tech Mahindra Foundation has taken effort to offer a user-friendly experience for Persons with Disabilities.

Conformance Status and Certification

In order to fulfil Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) criteria at the AA level, it is hereby acknowledged that this site has been assessed by software developers and appropriately edited. There are many recommendations for improving the accessibility of web content at the WCAG 2.1 AA level. Guidelines for creating accessible web content are included in WCAG 2.1 AA level specifications. This affirmation attests to the Success Criteria as outlined by WCAG having been met with particular methodologies. As a result, the information on this website is now easily accessible to a broader range of persons with disabilities, such as those who are visually impaired or have low vision, are hearing-impaired or have hearing loss, have learning difficulties, cognitive challenges, limited mobility, trouble in speaking, or a combination of these challenges. The online content of this website has also become more user-friendly as a result of the implementation and adherence to these rules. Efforts made to increase accessibility for this website

In order to examine, remediate, and test this website, Tech Mahindra Foundation’s agency, it’s team of developers, designers, and content accessibility experts performed cross-accessibility testing and analysis of the newly designed user reaches and online content. Adjustments, including JavaScript & CSS work were made as part of the process to make this website more accessible. Modifications to the procedure for assistive technology accessibility were also made e.g. NonVisual Desktop Access (NVDA) and Job Access With Speech (JAWS) etc. A detailed list of all added functionalities and accessibility changes can be seen below.

Compatibility with web browsers and auxiliary aids

Our objective is to support as many different browsers and assistive technologies as we can.

As a result, we have made efforts to support widely used platforms like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera, and Safari VoiceOver on a MAC. We have also talked about the Windows and MAC versions of the assistive technologies NVDA and JAWS.

Additionally, the following changes were made to this website during the audit to improve accessibility:

  • Based on a dark background, change the colour contrast.
  • In response to a light background, adjust the colour contrast.
  • Modify the site’s colour scheme.
  • People who are colour-blind have matching and monochromatic options.

  • The cursor should be bigger and be either black or white.
  • 200 per cent enlarge the display.
  • Site links should be highlighted.
  • Highlighting the site’s headers.
  • Display an alternate image description.
  • Boost the material that the cursor has selected and is displayed in a tooltip.
  • By using the mouse, pick words to define
  • Plainly and legibly present the website’s content in a new window.
  • Allows for the mouse-based typing of text by users.
  • Stops moving parts from blinking and flashing
