Executive/Sr. Executive Placement

Role: Executive/Sr. Executive Placement
Project: Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Digital Technologies
Experience: - 3-5 years’ experience in placement and student interaction in the Higher Education Sector/Vocational Training.
Location: Mohali
Qualification: Candidate should be graduate in Management with good understanding of the courses in digital technology.
Number of openings: 1
Salary: As per industry standards

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To support the Project Director/HOD Academics in the planning and organizing the placements of students from different courses.
  • To coordinate between the employers and the students on the Placement process which include sharing the job vacancy with the students, scheduling the interviews accompanying the students for interviews and keeping them informed on the employer’s feedback.
  • To communicate and coordinate with the respective faculties and HOD-Academics on the employer feedback and assist them to prepare the students for interviews as per the industry requirement.
  • To organize the campus placements, update student’s resume and educational documents and assist them in the entire process.
  • To assist in the development and maintenance of the database of the existing employers and generate new connection by tele-calling and emailers.
  • Ensure healthy interaction with the students, conducting pre placement sessions and mock interviews.
  • Maintaining the Placement format, employer’s database and a number of jobs offer received.
  • Documentation of student’s resume, educational and other documents as desired by the respective employer.
  • Any other task as assigned by the Project Director.

 

Desired Skill Set:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and managerial skills.
  • Experience of student interactions and data management.
  • Familiarity and ability to work on MS office tools (Power point, Excel, Word).
  • Prior experience with the Digital Technology sector is preferred.

Role: Executive Tele-counsellor

Experience: 2-4 years of work experience in counselling and tele-calling in educational or vocational training institute preferably in healthcare.
Location: Mohali
Qualification: Graduation in any stream

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Perform counselling & career guidance for interested Students /parents by Tele-calling.
  • Handle walk ins enquiries and help them understand the courses offered.
  • Making calls to the leads on a daily basis and maintaining their status to follow up
  • Making calls to the cold leads on a regular basis.
  • Maintain and update the leads database.
  • Convert prospects into admissions by sharing all the required information about the courses. offered and the career prospects associated with each of them.
  • Regular updating of the reports as required.
  • Assist the field team in outdoor mobilization activities.

Desired Skill Set

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Counselling and negotiation skills.
  • Working knowledge of software applications including MS World, Excel and Internet.
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare will be an added advantage.
