Roles and Responsibilities: 

Teaching

  • Conduct high-quality workshops and courses for teachers in Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE) with progressive pedagogical and adult learning methodologies.
  • Prepare capacity building program plans in ECCE, and provide inputs for the preparation of the academic calendar of ITEI. 
  • Coordinate with other subject teams for planning and executing the ECCE programs
  • Analyze the feedback on the training programs received from the teachers and other training participants and incorporate it in subsequent trainings.
  • Provide direction for the ECCE program in alignment with the current educational policies and guidelines e.g.; NEP 2020, NCFTE 2009 etc. 

Content Development

  • Develop detailed program framework, teaching plan and workshop modules for effective implementation on the basis of background study of relevant national and international reference material. 
  • Develop program materials for short-term as well as for intensive courses.
  • Strengthen the Resource Centre and develop subject-specific resource material including teacher manuals, interactive models, TLM, reference material, assessment tools, etc.
  • Regularly update the developed resources on the basis of the conducted action research/ primary or secondary research or other academic reading and writing. 

Research and Development 

  • Develop research-based specialized content and instructions to achieve the workshop goals and objectives. 
  • Regularly conduct training need assessment TNA, baseline and end line assessments for checking the effectiveness of the program. 
  • Conceptualize, design and conduct research/s on regular basis. Explore the latest methodologies, resources, and approaches in the field of education and the expertise area to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the program modules and other resources.
  • Conceptualize and produce academic writings in the subject domain. 

School Visits and Direct Intervention in Schools

  • Regularly observe classroom sessions at various schools to understand the impact of the programs and.
  • Plan and provide on-site support to selected teachers in schools in the respective subject. 
  • Intensive engagement with a cohort of teachers for understanding the factors required for effective change in the teaching practices.

Documentation and Reporting 

  • Document and report the progress on the allocated tasks.
  • Prepare and submit training reports, classroom observation reports, events, and other reports.

Other Activities

  • Collaborate with teachers, team members, and other TMF members to perform the assigned tasks effectively. 
  • Contribute to the development and publication of Annual Report, Newsletter, and other publications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality training and courses for teachers in Special Education with progressive pedagogical and adult learning methodologies.
  • Prepare a plan for the training program in Special Education, and provide inputs for the preparation of the training calendar of ITEI.
  • Provide direction to the special in-service teacher education program.
  • Develop detailed training modules and regularly update content, resource material, etc.
  • Develop subject-specific resource material including kits, interactive models, TLM, reference, material, assessment tools etc.
  • Undertake responsibility for field testing and finalizing the developed content.
  • Strengthen the Resource Centre with academic resources and teaching-learning material on Special Education.
  • Develop research-based specialized content and instructions to achieve the workshop goals and objectives. Explore the latest methodologies, resources, and approaches in the field of education and the expertise area to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the training modules and other resources.
  • Regularly observe classroom sessions at various schools to understand the impact of the training programs and assess training requirements.
  • Plan and provide on-site support to selected teachers in schools in the respective subject.
  • Track a set of teachers for change in their teaching practices.
  • Document and report the progress on the allocated tasks.

Experience: 6 years of work experience is essential in the education sector, with a focus on training teachers and content development for imparting English Language skills.
Location: Mumbai
Qualification: Post-graduate in English Literature or any relevant discipline OR Graduate (English Literature/ B.Ed./any other relevant field) with significant experience will also be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Designing & Planning

  • Design an annual English-Winglish training plan for the designated location
  • Align the existing session plans to fit the set of participants
  • Make creative additions to the sessions in terms of activities, homework & other possible tools of engagement
  • Plan for opportunities that can be tapped into towards broadening participants’ learning experience
  • Design and plan for ways to keep the participants invested outside of the training and observation period

2. Execution & Facilitation

  • Arrange the entire logistics to facilitate the training as close as possible to the planned strategies.
  • Ensure the sessions are engaging and teachers are highly interested in the program
  • Support co-facilitators both before and during the training

3. Data Analysis and impact assessment 

  • Ensure alignment of the training content with the assessment tool
  • Conduct Baseline and End line assessment of every teacher involved in the training, 
  • Analyse the data derived from the assessment and formulate further actionable strategies in collaboration with the English-Winglish team 
  • Gather feedback, analyse data, and implement the next steps in forthcoming 
  • Reports to be prepared on completion of every training and to be shared with the English-Winglish team, location teams and relevant government officials.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate and regularly update the government partners with the program schedule, progress report and future plans of English – Winglish
  • Build capacity of TMF location team members to facilitate sessions (as per need)
  • Collaborate with co-facilitators on your team to ensure smooth transitioning between sessions
  • Collaborate with English-Winglish facilitators from other cities, to align and share ideas and strategies, for enhancement of the program

5. Contribution to the overall organization development 

  • Participate and engage with other project teams in the location 
  • Contribute time to other training programmes as per your interest 
  • Work in complete collaboration with the Mumbai TMF team
