Today, we are proud to share with you that Tech Mahindra Foundation has recently employed a 60-year-old visually challenged Lady, Hiramani. She is working as a counselor in one of the Tech Mahindra SMART Centres in Mumbai.

Hiramani is doing fantastic work! In less than a year, she has trained and counseled 22 batches covering more than 100 SMART students in Mumbai.

Retirement from Government service left a huge vacuum in Hiramani’s life. She lost purpose and became depressed. She desperately wanted to go back to work but sadly nobody was willing to give her an opportunity. A chance meeting with one of our staff changed her life.

The Foundation decided to employ her as a counselor. Now, Hiramani is happy. She has found a purpose to live. “I feel privileged and proud to be part of the Tech Mahindra family. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to serve the disadvantaged,” she says with a smile.
