26th October 2019

Dear Friends,

We are delighted to share that our efforts have been recognized and the Foundation has been honored at the CSR Times Award 2019 and the 8th ACEF Asian Leaders Forum and Awards. Thanks for your support in our journey to continue to #RISE.

Today, we are excited to share the story of Samson James, who was in prison and joined our Seesha SMART-T Centre in 2018. Samson not only acquired practical skills for Light Motor Vehicle driving but also earned a government-approved driving license during his imprisonment. Now, that he has been released, he walks out DIGNIFIED with a secure job as a driver.

“Tech Mahindra Foundation is the light at the end of the tunnel for me. Even getting a single meal was a challenge for my family. My life and my family totally collapsed when I was put behind bars. Tech Mahindra’s SMART-T Centre was the only training inside the prison which was efficient and practical. Life after prison is not easy as you come with a title “kaidhi” (prisoner) and nobody even considered me for any job. But Tech Mahindra and Seesha secured me a job which is a dream for people like me. Thank you for transforming my life!” says Samson James.

Thanks for now and here’s wishing that the warmth and splendor fill your life with happiness. We wish you all a bright and happy Diwali.

Warm Regards,
Tech Mahindra Foundation
