Today, we would like to share with you a recent advocacy initiative in the space of Education and Disability. One of our ARISE+ schools, Vikas Vidyalaya carried out an awareness rally with the children and teachers of the school on World Deaf Day (28th of September). The objective of the rally was to create awareness about people with hearing impairment and how society can help them achieve inclusivity so that they can lead a normal fulfilling life. The students created charts, spoke to people on the streets with the help of their teachers and explained how they overcome challenges despite being especially able.
