It takes courage to become an inspiration and grow up. This International Women’s Day, let us celebrate the day by sharing the inspiring journey of a shero, Jackline Banklore who despite being tested COVID-19 positive twice never lost her zeal to become allied healthcare professional.
She is a student of Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare, Mumbai and a part-time compounder at a hospital. While on duty, she developed COVID-19 symptoms, but she continued her job because she had to support her family. But things got worse for the 29-year old student as she became COVID-19 positive twice and was hospitalised for 10 days. But this didn’t let her quit her dream to become an allied healthcare professional.
Once she recovered completely, she immediately joined the online classes and started preparing for the upcoming placements. Currently, she is going through her internship period.
“My dream is to become a successful paramedic and make sure that I support my family and fulfil their dreams as well”, says Jackline.
