Anand Mundhe

Life is unpredictable! Anand Mundhe lost his parents in his early childhood and has grown up alone in a hostel in Aurangabad. It has been challenging for him to meet the ends, with the economic crisis and no family around.
But the best part is, he never gave up!
When Anand was uncertain about his career, he came in contact with Tech Mahindra Foundation’s partner organisation, Lighthouse NGO. Looking at his sincerity and dedication, the team briefed him about varied allied healthcare courses available at SMART Academy for Healthcare in Pune. Looking at a ray of hope, he joined the 6-month General Duty Assistant course and completed the training with flying colours. In no time, he started exploring opportunities and began a new chapter of his life as a Supervisor at a renowned hospital.
Being an inspiration for many, Anand says, “I could learn and explore a lot through this course. It gave me the opportunity to start my career as a paramedic and I believe I’ll be able to serve the society.”
Today, he is living a dignified life and wants to keep growing.
