CT & MRI Technician at IVY Hospital, Mohali

Jasmeet was a class 12th pass out and in the dilemma of his career. He was a shy young man who barely spoke and felt disrespected due to being mocked by neighbours for being idle. His father worked as a security guard at IVY hospital and came to know about Tech Mahindra SMART Academy of Healthcare in Mohali from other students who got placed in the hospital.

Jasmeet identified the X-RAY course of his interest from the SMART Academy website and felt he could be well placed after completing the course from the Academy. He was a very shy student and never dared to speak in class, which changed due to his perseverance, hard work, and support from the faculty and staff. His manners and good behaviour were always admired by teachers and classmates. The faculty worked on improving his skills and supported him in all aspects during the course due to which he got a quick placement in a reputed X-ray center in the city.

In his words “I got to learn basic social etiquette and work ethics after my course completion which I didn’t know. I was an introvert person who got transformed into a confident individual and am still learning”. Jasmeet’s parents and wife are very happy to see this change in him, for his Nobel career and the person he is today.

Jasmeet aspires to work harder and appear for government job examinations to take his dream higher for his family and make them proud.
