K Swarana Latha

Trained at BCT TMF SMART Centre Autonagar, Visakhapatnam

This is the story of K Swarana Latha!
There was a time when she was uncertain about her future, but today, her confidence and the ability to shoulder her responsibilities cannot be ignored. She has transformed herself into a strong woman.

There were four members in Latha’s family wherein her father was the sole bread earner. They were not economically strong, but their little family was living happily together. Latha completed her graduation in Electrical Engineering and had aspirations to achieve greater heights in her life. Not knowing where to start her career, she approached BCT TMF SMART Centre in Autonagar, Visakhapatnam and shared her interest in the skill training program.

She wanted to work on her employability skills and gain confidence to start her career. However, her world came crashing down when she was approaching the end of her training. Covid-19 hit the country and so, to her family. In an unfortunate turn of events, she lost both her parents to Covid within a week.

Latha was shattered to pieces now. The grief of losing her parents was too heavy to handle. She shares, “after the demise of my parents, I had no clue about how to move forward. However, with the support of my well-wishers, I stood strong and decided to take responsibility of running my house. I had to take care of my younger brother, who is currently studying, not just as a sister but like a mother. I knew that I have to stay strong to run my family.”

Her training at BCT TMF SMART Technical Training Centre helped her enhance her skills and confidence. She worked hard and secured a role at Avantel Pvt. Ltd., Visakhapatnam, with a good stipend. This was her first job! She didn’t stop and kept moving forward with dedication and persistence. She won appreciation at her workplace and got selected for TCS, Hyderabad.

Her performance helped her life to turn normal. Today, she is a confident woman who is looking after her brother’s education as well. Swarana Latha is a living example of an individual who believes in herself, makes the most of each situation and remains focused on her goals in life, letting nothing, absolutely nothing, deter her from her path.
Wishing her all the best!
