Story of Defying Odds

Kulsum’s journey with adversity began early, after losing her father at the age of 2. Her mother, a homemaker, faced financial struggles while supporting Kulsum. Things changed for the better when her uncle introduced her to the Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare in Mumbai. She enrolled in the SMART Academy’s GDA (General Duty Assistant) course.

Previously she encountered frequent rejections in job interviews. Support from SMART Academy’s faculty proved to be of immense help. She gained confidence for future opportunities. Her dedication and hard work paid off when she secured the position of Patient Care Assistant at Somaiya Hospital.

Driven by the goal of financial stability, Kulsum’s story reflects the power of resilience and determination. Today, we celebrate her success as a story of hope for others facing obstacles. As Kulsum’s dream comes true, we wish her continued success.
