Seizing the Day

Determination is what keeps us going and acts as an inspiration for many around us! Such is the story of Gogavarapu Pallavi.

Gogavarapu Pallavi comes from a humble background, her mother is a homemaker and her father is a priest. While growing up in the city of Hyderabad, Pallavi always aspired to be a graphic designer. One day, while surfing through social media, she came to know about Tech Mahindra SMART Academies for Digital Technologies. Without wasting any time, she connected with the Academy team in Hyderabad to know more about the courses. In June 2020, Pallavi joined the Certificate in Graphic Design course at Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Digital Technologies in Hyderabad.

Speaking of her enrolment into the course during the lockdown period, she says, “I thought that it is going to be tough but we are responsible for ourselves. I took this period positively, and I thought that it is a good time to learn something new, something which I always wanted to become.” Soon after completing the course, she got a job in March 2021 despite the global pandemic and economic recession. She worked hard with determination and bagged another opportunity within a short span. Pallavi joined her new company without hesitation.

Today, she is an independent woman and a skilled Graphic Designer. She says, “I am happy that I can support my family.” She also expresses gratitude to the trainers at the Academy who prepared her well and transformed her into a confident and responsible woman.
