Jamuna Singh was one of our brightest students at Tech Mahindra Foundation’s SMART Reach India Trust Centre in Nabapally, Kolkata. On the completion of her Customer Relationship and Sales training, she landed a job at Spencer’s Retail. In the first wave of the COVID pandemic, Jamuna tested positive and had to be hospitalised. It was during this time that the pandemic affected her emotionally and financially. With our resolve to Rise together, we reached out to her and supported her in various ways to overcome the situation. Today, Jamuna is back at Spencer’s Retail and has recently bagged the Best Employee of the Month award. Kudos to this brave girl and we wish her good health and best wishes for her endeavours.
