Searching for Self-Improvement

Monis has successfully managed to find an appropriate job for himself even in these difficult times of the pandemic and started working from home in May 2020. 

His father owns a small wedding card business which is a seasonal affair and his mother is a homemaker. They have always encouraged Monis to study well as they understand the importance of education. A family of 7, they were completely dependent on his father’s fluctuating income and his father began to worry about meeting the needs of the family with his single-handed income. 

Monis was willing to work but due to a lack of knowledge and skills, he couldn’t find employment. He explored his options and enrolled himself in the Customer Relationship & Sales (CRS) course at Tarraqi Smart Centre and soon after completing the course, he was offered a decent job by ICCS – Insight Call Centre Solution in insurance process. 

Prior to joining the course, he was extremely hesitant of interacting with people due to poor communication skills and lack of confidence. However, during the 4 months training at the SMART Centre, he gained skills and knowledge that made him feel ready for the job market. Besides, he understood the importance of time management and teamwork. 

He feels motivated and excited to contribute to the family income and continues to work on self-improvement.

Instead, I have got my first job and I am working from home at a time when most people are unemployed in India. Soon, I will give my first salary to my parents.”- Monis
