Obstacles Cannot Stop One's Advancement

“Success is not pre-destined, it is hard-earned”

Obstacles Cannot Stop One's Advancement 1

Middila Gangadhar Prashanth

Trained at BCT-TMF SMART Gajuwaka Centre, Visakhapatnam

As we know, life can be considered one of the best teachers. Prashanth’s story is one example of overcoming struggles to become a responsible citizen of society with lessons from life. Middila Gangadhar Prashanth came from a family of five where he lived with his mother, two sisters and his father who works as a lorry mechanic.

Prashanth has been decent at studies and an eager learner. In spite of the financial constraints, he managed to get enrolled in an engineering college and completed two years of his studies. However, due to consistent personal and financial challenges, he had to discontinue the same. This didn’t deter his will to learn and earn. He took a part-time job in D-MART as a cashier but the insufficient work skills made it hard for him to adjust and improve his efficiency. Meanwhile, he got to know about Tech Mahindra Foundation’s SMART Centre in association with Bhagavatula Charitable Trust (BCT) in Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam from one of his friends.

After understanding the courses, he enrolled for learning job skills and career development. After successfully completing the course, he was confident about the next step in his career. Today, he is working in the formal sector earning a dignified living and leading a life with joy and work satisfaction. He is truly grateful to BCT-TMF SMART Centre for bringing glory to his life and says with a smile, “Success is not pre-destined, it is hard-earned and joining the Centre was life-changing for me”.

We wish him all the best for a wonderful life!
