Yusra Hasan’s courageous attitude encouraged her to break stereotypes and led her way into becoming a successful entrepreneur. She comes from a lower-middle-class family in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Her father was a small export business owner but after his sudden demise, the business went down. Her father would always encourage her and treat her equal to her brothers. But his death pushed her in depression and anxiety about her future.
The financial instability in the family grew with time. She enrolled herself in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) program but that didn’t do her any good. She was unable to financially support her family.
Then she came to know about the short term vocational courses at Tarraqi SMART Centre and enrolled herself in the 4 months Customer Relationship and Sales (CRS) course. At Tarraqi SMART Centre, she enhanced her communication skills and gained the self-confidence to start her own business.
After the completion of the 4-month course, she joined a job for approximately 2 months and simultaneously invested in her Crafts business. She portrayed her work through various exhibitions taking place at various platforms in Delhi, for e.g. Hajj Manzil, Jamia exhibitions, etc.
