Hailing from a traditional Muslim family with a father as a tailor and a mother as a housewife, Nida has the strongest desire to improve the financial condition of her family. An ambitious girl who wants to pursue an MBA.
BUT HOW?
When there’s a will, there’s a way! The community mobilization team convinced Nida to join the SMART Centre at Jamia Nagar, New Delhi. She chose the course on Workplace Readiness to define her goals in life and set priorities. She improved each day and learnt basic soft skills, even developed proficiency in English as well as Computer Skills.
HOW IT HELPED?
Nida experienced changes in herself. She became more confident and bold after attending the training classes regularly. This helped her get a job with Dr AV Baliga Memorial Trust as Office Assistant with a reasonably decent salary to fund her own education and support her family. Nida is the only girl in her locality who is doing a job.
