Be a Hero

“To be a Hero all you need to do is believe in yourself”

Be a Hero 1

Pooja Pal

Trained at SMART Academy for Healthcare, Delhi

She is the textbook definition of the word “Hero”. By the age of 24, she has surpassed her family’s expectation and doesn’t intend to stop any time soon. Having completed her two-year Emergency Medical Technician Diploma Course at the SMART Academy, she is currently working at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, Delhi as Nursing Orderly.

Modest and humble, Pooja confesses, “The only thing I was missing in my life was proper guidance. And this is where SMART Academy really helped me. The counsellors and mentors helped me to identify my strengths and skills in the first place.”

She aspires to pursue an advanced course on EMT soon. Looking back at the time when she lacked confidence, she says, “To be a Hero all you need to do is believe in yourself. There is nothing we can’t do if we put our whole heart into it. And at the SMART Academy, they made me believe that #MainBhiHero.”
