SMART Academies
Since May 2016, the Foundation has been running SMART Academies with the intent to offer advanced and longer-term courses in some specialised vocations. At present, we have twelve Tech Mahindra SMART Academies including five SMART Academies for Healthcare, three SMART Academies for Digital Technologies and four SMART Academies for Logistics. These academies or vocational training institutes were set up with a twofold goal – to create, build and nurture youth to develop advanced industry specific skills related to healthcare, digital technologies and logistics, and – to transform them into world-class professionals. SMART Academies For Healthcare
Creating world-class healthcare professionals
The healthcare infrastructure of India faces a shortage of trained and skilled healthcare professionals to cater a dense population. Tech Mahindra SMART Academies for Healthcare were set up for training youth to become skilled paramedical professionals and provide adequate support to the healthcare setup throughout the country. These premier healthcare vocational training institutes offer both diploma (certified by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Jamia Hamdard University) and certificate (qualified by the Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC)) courses. Our select courses in Mumbai Academy are also recognized by the Maharashtra State Board of Skill Development (MSBSD), Mumbai.
In the pursuit of providing world-class paramedics, these SMART Healthcare Academies are equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and expert as well as experienced trainers for best learning experience. In addition to courses and trainings, we also offer assistance to our students with internship opportunities in renowned hospitals.

The constant changes in the digital world have led to the demand of experts in Digital Technologies and Web Design to catalyse the digital transformation at a glance. Considering the increase in demand for new-age job-oriented digital courses, Tech Mahindra Foundation launched the SMART Academy for Digital Technologies. It aims at creating well-trained youth by providing them with quality training in various Digital Technology courses and Employability skills.

Creating world-class logistics professionals
The Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Logistics was set up in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh specifically to fulfill the demand of skilled logistics and supply chain professionals in the sector. Beside the domain specific courses for Logistics and Supply Chain training, this Academy also offer trainings in English language, Soft Skills and Personality Development to its students. The curriculum for the courses has been precisely designed and delivered by our expert faculty who come with good industry exposure.
