Raksha got married at 19 but soon her husband left her during her pregnancy. Refusing to bow down to challenges, she took a bold step toward self-independence by enrolling in the General Duty Assistant course at Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare in Mumbai. Family challenges were persistent during the course, but she refused to give up and successfully completed the course.
Her perseverance was rewarded as she landed a job as a Patient Care Assistant at Holy Family Hospital in Bandra. This newfound financial independence became a turning point. Raksha could now support her family and fund her 4-year-old daughter’s education. Raksha’s determination, along with the training from the Healthcare Academy, played a crucial role in transforming her life. Today, she stands as an inspiration, a reflection of the transformative power of education and hard work.
