She is a medical graduate and an alumnus of Symbiosis University as well as BITS Pilani with a specialization in Hospital and Healthcare Management. She is a doctor with strong base in statistics and believes in data driven number methodology to the core extent of all strategic and management decision. Dr Nidhi holds an experience of almost 15 years in diversified healthcare fields like Hospitals, TPA, Healthcare BPO, Healthcare KPO, Healthcare LPO, and Healthcare Education Management. Presently, she is the chairperson for Tech Mahindra Foundation SMART Healthcare Academic Council and is heading the SMART Healthcare Academy for West region. She is a designated external expert on board of Faculty of Vocational (Medical) Studies for Parul University, Gujrat. The Foundation started its flagship teacher training programme ‘Shikshaantar’ with a vision to create happier classrooms. In partnership with the East Delhi Municipal Corporation the Foundation has been running an In-Service Teacher Education Institute for over five years. We are also in the process of launching a new In-Service Teacher Education Institute in association with the North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Shikshaantar has been working in 6 cities impacting around 7000 teachers annually. Our programmes include Cambridge English Training with Corporation of Chennai teachers, Balwadi Teacher Training with Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, Science Academy with government school teachers in Hyderabad, Constructivism Pedagogy training with Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (Pune), Mathematics and English training with Thane Municipal Corporation and a newly launched DIET enhancement programme with the Karnataka state government.
In order to deepen our understanding on the issue of Teacher Development and create a platform for sharing of ideas and experience, Tech Mahindra Foundation is organizing a half-day roundtable called ‘Saajhi Samajh – A Round Table on Teacher Development’. The event will be held on 13 April 2018, Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by lunch at the India International Centre, Seminar Hall no. 2, 40, Max Muller Marg, New Delhi.
