AN INCLUSIVE WORLD

1st December 2016

Dear Friends,

On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, We are delighted to share that it is our constant endeavour to positively impact the lives of thousands of  Persons with Disabilities in India, whether it be by providing educational support or skilling opportunities. Celebrations happened across the country to mark the day. More than 100 Youth from Deaf Enabled Foundation,  Sphoorthi Jyothi Foundation ( Visually Challenged) and children from Ashray Akruti (Hearing Impaired) and Sadhana Institute for the Mentally Challenged gathered at Tech Mahindra Learning World for the week-long celebrations at Hyderabad.

In Mumbai, Inter-school athletic competitions were held where more than 500 differently able children participated. At our SMART+ Centres associates were sensitized to the needs of youth with disability. Our associates went a step up and interacted using sign language with the hearing impaired youth. In the Capital, we supported the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) to create awareness around the cause.

We believe in a connected world and include Persons with Disabilities . An app has also been launched wherein associates can send messages to associates with disabilities and our beneficiaries can upload their photos and videos.

Together on this day let’s Rise for Inclusion!

Warm Regards,
Tech Mahindra Foundation
